A different kind of bedding company
Hey, it's me Figo. I've always suffered with anxiety since I was a young kid. Whenever my exams were near, I would get frequest chest pains and shortness of breath. It wasn't until the age of 20 that I finally went to a psychiatrist to get diagnosed with anxiety.
I used to get panic attacks often, feeling the shortness of breathe as I continue overthinking. Insomnia was also another big issue for me as I toss and turn in bed, struggling to fall asleep and stay asleep. I knew that there had to be a better way of coping with anxiety and have resorted to searching online, given the limited resources Singapore has towards mental health.
That's when I found the solution of a weighted blanket, a blanket that is supposed to hug you can calm you down. The prices for these blankets were extremely high and I wanted to start Noche to make weighted blankets an easily accesible tool to help those suffering from mental health issues, or those who just want a better sleep.
I hope that one day, with noche, I'll be able to get rid of the stigma about mental health issues in Singapore. Instead of looking at it in a negative light, we should all come together and help those that need our support. And we are not afraid to come out and admit that we have mental health issues and actively seek treatment.
